Dome Solar is responsible for the products delivered directly from the time it took over operations for the LightX and FD3 systems. Obligations related to earlier projects remain governed by the original contractual terms, with a focus on continuity and support aimed at assisting partners during the transition.
Archives: FAQs
Which markets are primarily served?
Dome Solar provides individualized service to each client and focuses in Europe particularly on Germany, Spain, and Portugal; the Benelux countries and Switzerland; Eastern Europe and Poland; the Nordic countries; and Morocco.
Who is responsible in case of a defect in a project installed before handover?
Are projects already validated with old certifications compliant?
Do the certifications (CE, local standards, DTU, Eurocodes, TÜV, etc.) remain valid?
Yes. The LightX and FD3 systems are based on designs and technical principles that have already been certified according to applicable standards (CE, Eurocodes, local standards, etc.).
How can I track the next steps of the integration?
Regular updates will be published as the integration of LightX and FD3 technologies into the Dome Solar portfolio progresses. If you have any further questions, please contact the Mounting Systems / Dome Solar teams or Anastassia Legendre, Export Director at Dome Solar.
Will this integration have an impact on delivery times?
The Dome Solar teams are actively working to build a robust and sustainable supply chain that will ensure Mounting Systems customers continue to receive their orders within the usual delivery times.
Where are the products manufactured?
We manufacture in Europe, primarily in France and Germany. We continue to source raw materials from our usual Mounting Systems suppliers to ensure consistent quality standards.
Will the LightX and FD3 solutions continue to evolve in the future?
Yes. The goal of Dome Solar is to continue developing and optimizing integrated technologies in order to keep pace with developments in the photovoltaic market and meet the operational requirements of installers and EPCs.
What are the benefits of this integration for partners and installers?
This integration provides access to an expanded portfolio of photovoltaic solutions, supported by Dome Solar’s industrial, technical, and logistical capabilities. Partners benefit from: a more comprehensive product portfolio (pitched roofs, carports, flat roofs, and ground-mounted systems), enhanced technical support, improved industrial and logistical capabilities, and a long-term vision focused on stability and reliability.
