Dome Solar is reviewing existing agreements with a view to maintaining continuity where appropriate. Current partners are being supported on an individual basis to assess the terms for continuing the collaboration under the new framework.
Warranties & Liability
Dome Solar is responsible for the products delivered directly from the time it took over operations for the LightX and FD3 systems. Obligations related to earlier projects remain governed by the original contractual terms, with a focus on continuity and support aimed at assisting partners during the transition.
Logistics
The goal is to improve responsiveness, ensure supply, and facilitate local distribution.
Initially in France. The warehouses will be gradually restructured at the European level, with an organizational structure designed to optimize product availability and delivery times. This structure will build on the industrial and logistical capabilities of Dome Solar and the Kingspan Group.
The Dome Solar teams are actively working to build a robust and sustainable supply chain that will ensure Mounting Systems customers continue to receive their orders within the usual delivery times.
This is one of the primary goals of integration. Dome Solar is gradually building the necessary capacity to ensure the availability of compatible components and spare parts for the systems in question.
Prices & Terms of Trade
Trading conditions are currently being harmonized with the Dome Solar standards. The goal is to provide a clear, stable framework that is aligned with international markets while ensuring the competitiveness of the solutions. Partners will receive individualized support during this transition.
Dome Solar is working to offer a pricing structure that is consistent with the market and aligned with expected quality and service standards. In the context of the industry’s restart and efforts to secure the supply chain, several developments can be observed. Partners are informed transparently when new terms are introduced.
Products
The integration currently covers the LightX and FD3 ballasted flat-roof systems and their related technical components. These solutions complement the Dome Solar portfolio to offer our international partners a broader and more cohesive range of photovoltaic products.
Yes. The goal of Dome Solar is to continue developing and optimizing integrated technologies in order to keep pace with developments in the photovoltaic market and meet the operational requirements of installers and EPCs.
No, the integration involves the LightX and FD3 ballast-based technologies, the global Mounting Systems brand, LightX and FD3 inventory, and production capacity.

Yes. Product continuity is our top priority. Dome Solar is actively working to gradually restore capacity in the areas of engineering, procurement, and support to ensure the reliable availability of the LightX and FD3 systems.
Projects
Yes. The Dome Solar teams are actively working to support partners and distributors affected by ongoing projects involving LightX and FD3 technologies.
Quality & Engineering
We manufacture in Europe, primarily in France and Germany. We continue to source raw materials from our usual Mounting Systems suppliers to ensure consistent quality standards.
Yes. The original German suppliers remain integrated into the technical environment of the products to ensure industrial continuity and solution coherence.
Yes. Technical standards, structural analysis requirements, and quality control processes remain at the heart of the industrial approach to the LightX and FD3 systems. The synergies between Mounting Systems’s long-standing German engineering expertise and Dome Solar’s industrial know-how are a central element of this integration. As the French market leader, Dome Solar has its own engineering team, a unique test bench, and a significant track record of having delivered 5 GW of integrated systems.
Training & Onboarding
Yes. Supporting our partners is a priority. The Dome Solar teams are gradually expanding their presence to provide tailored technical and commercial support, including assistance with design, proposal development, and implementation.
Yes. Technical and product training will be rolled out progressively to support onboarding into the LightX, FD3, and the rest of the full portfolio systems in their new environment. These trainings can be provided in various formats (webinars, technical sessions, dedicated materials).
Strategy
Yes. The goal of Dome Solar is to continue developing and optimizing integrated technologies in order to keep pace with developments in the photovoltaic market and meet the operational requirements of installers and EPCs.
This integration provides access to an expanded portfolio of photovoltaic solutions, supported by Dome Solar’s industrial, technical, and logistical capabilities. Partners benefit from: a more comprehensive product portfolio (pitched roofs, carports, flat roofs, and ground-mounted systems), enhanced technical support, improved industrial and logistical capabilities, and a long-term vision focused on stability and reliability.
Dome Solar has identified strong synergies between the technical standards, engineering approach, and product philosophy of both companies. This integration enables a complete product line for pitched roofs, carports, flat roofs (welded and ballast systems), and ground-mounted systems.
