Baking with impact - how our trainees sweetened the team spirit

From baking tray to donation - trainees organize successful cake bazaar for a good cause
What does dedicated training look like in practice? At Mounting Systems, the answer is: with initiative, team spirit and a pinch of creativity. Our three trainees from the office area have demonstrated exactly that and have set up an internal project that connects, moves and even has an impact beyond the horizon.
What began as a simple idea quickly developed into a genuine community project. A cake bazaar, organized by trainees for colleagues. Without any budget, supported solely by voluntary cake donations from the team. The variety on the bazaar table was impressive. From classic apple pie to moist chocolate cake and lovingly decorated muffins, there was something for everyone. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., people sold, snacked and, above all, created something together.
The three trainees took on the entire organization of the project. From internal communication and coordination of the donations to implementation on the sales day - everything was in their hands. They were not only able to demonstrate their organizational skills, but also learn how important coordination, personal responsibility and cross-departmental cooperation are in day-to-day work.

More than just a donation: A strong sign of active commitment
The proceeds of the bazaar, a considerable three-digit donation sum, were handed over to the Rangsdorf hospice service. An organization that accompanies people in their last phase of life and supports grieving relatives.
The project was a complete success, not only because of the amount donated, but also because of the lasting momentum it has created within our company. It has shown how important it is to give young people responsibility and how much they can achieve if they are given the space to do so.
We would like to thank all the cake donors, our colleagues for their support and, above all, our three dedicated trainees. Your commitment is a great example of how training can be designed with meaning and impact.
