A good grounding, a stable and long-term resilient foundation are the solid basis of a PV investment. We therefore pay particular attention to this area of our mounting solutions. Depending on the ground conditions, ground corrosiveness and static requirements, MSY Systems offers different shapes, dimensions and materials for the foundation of your PV system.

  • H - Post

    • H223 - Standard posts for normal static requirements and floor densities
    • System - Sigma II, Sigma II-KIT
    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern to adapt to uneven surfaces
    • Security - Hole pattern for connection to earthing grid
    • Material - depending on static requirements in steel S350 to S550
  • V - Post

    • V223, V267, V334 - Standard posts for normal static requirements and floor densities
    • System - Sigma II, Sigma II-KIT
    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern to adapt to uneven surfaces
    • Security - Hole pattern for connection to earthing grid
    • Material - depending on static requirements in steel S350 to S550
  • C - Post

    • C140, C170, C240 - Standard posts for normal static requirements and floor densities
    • System - Omega TR1, Sigma TR2, Sigma IA, Sigma I
    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern to adapt to uneven surfaces
    • Security - Hole pattern for connection to earthing grid
    • Material - depending on static requirements in steel S350 to S550

    • S89, S114 - Standard posts for normal static requirements and floor densities

    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern for adaptation to unevenness via adapter plate

  • Corrosion protection

    • Areas of application - Soil classes Ia, Ib, II and III according to DIN 50929:3
    • Drinking water protection - Special surface coating for drinking water protection areas
    • Surface quality - Various surface finishes depending on soil class - galvanized according to ISO 1461 or powder-coated according to ISO 55633 or epoxy resin ISO 12944 or combination coating)

For the foundation of PV racks in soil layers with low embedment depth or above ground MSY can provide the following foundation methods:

  • Y - Post

    • Y223 Standard posts for normal static requirements with inclined cores to reduce the embedment depth
    • System - Sigma II, Sigma II-KIT
    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern to compensate for height tolerances
    • Security - Hole pattern for connection to earthing grid
    • Material - depending on static requirements in steel S350 to S550
  • H - Post with in-cast concrete

    • H223 Standard posts for normal static requirements in a shortened version
    • System - Sigma II, Sigma II-KIT
    • Tolerances - Vertical hole pattern to compensate for height tolerances
    • Security - Hole pattern for connection to earthing grid
    • Material - depending on static requirements in steel S350 to S550
  • L - Adapter with concrete anchor

    • L60 - Adapter for concrete anchors for screwing to existing surfaces
