Main sponsor for Bridlington Town FC

We are delighted to tell you about our exciting sponsorship project in England! Our client, HDM Worldwide, has recently taken over Bridlington Town Football Club and brought us, Mounting Systems GmbH, on board as their main sponsor. A particularly exciting element of this project is the planned installation of solar panels on the roof of the Queensgate Stadium, which has capacity for 2,800 spectators. HDM Worldwide has announced that this sustainable initiative will not only help to reduce the club's carbon footprint, but also to pass on the energy savings to the fans. The aim is to reduce ticket prices, making football more accessible to all.

HSE management

An interview with our HSE Manager Jeannette Donda

Health, safety and the environment

New HSE department at Mounting Systems: a safe step towards sustainability and health

Since October, we have had a new Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department in the company. As part of quality management, it ensures compliance with legal requirements in health protection, occupational safety and environmental management. In short, it creates the framework conditions that enable a safe and sustainable working environment from which Mounting Systems and its employees benefit!

As we wanted to find out more about the area, we conducted an interview with Jeannette, our HSE Manager. Below you can find out more about her and her new tasks and how we can all benefit from her and her area of responsibility in the company.

What are you responsible for as HSE Manager?
What topics are you responsible for?

Jeannette: I am the central point of contact both internally and externally when it comes to health protection, occupational safety and environmental management. I create standardised processes and framework conditions based on legal requirements. These ensure a safe working environment, healthy employees and a sustainable corporate policy.

Why did you decide to do this?

Jeannette: I love familiarising myself with new tasks and taking on responsibility. My business studies and ten years of self-employment have given me an entrepreneurial mindset. This is necessary in order to recognise risks at an early stage, derive measures and make decisions. On the other hand, it is always important to me to see people, recognise needs and work for the well-being of others.

Have you set yourself any goals? If so, what do they look like?

Jeannette: The specific target images for the individual areas are currently being developed. Irrespective of this, however, I have a vision. And that is that health, safety and environmental responsibility are firmly anchored in our MSY corporate philosophy.

If you had one wish in the work context, what would it be?

Jeannette: My wish is that the framework conditions I have created are filled with life. This means that people understand why it is necessary to integrate this area into everyday working life and how each individual can make their own contribution.

Sustainability has become such a hackneyed word. What does that mean for you in concrete terms?

Jeannette: For me, sustainable means that I consciously and mindfully do things in such a way that they are meaningful in the moment and have a positive long-term impact on the world and everyone involved. A radiance from the present into the future, so to speak.

How do you integrate the topic of sustainability into your private life?

Jeannette: This happens in many different ways. For example, in my interpersonal relationships - with family, friends and at work. Or it manifests itself in my connection to nature or in my respect for our resources. In September, for example, I cycled from Berlin to Usedom with two friends and our bikes - I'm still living on that time and will certainly tell my (great-)grandchildren about it.

Combining sustainability and career

Training with purpose: combining sustainability and career

Sustainable training

Live your passion

YOLO - ever heard of it? It was the youth word of the year back in 2012 and it's on the list again this year. "You Only Live Once" - you only live once. A perfect motto when it comes to choosing a career. Because life is too short to do a job that you don't enjoy. That's why it's important to find out what suits you before you start your career.

For this reason, we were represented at the Südring Centre's training fair last weekend to advise interested pupils and those looking for training and to provide information about our range of services.

Many young people and adults visited our stand with interest and got talking to us. There was great demand for work placements for school pupils and for our apprenticeships. We have even been successful in receiving the first applications.

Shaping the future

Sustainable education for a better world

But it's not just fun and passion that should play a role when it comes to choosing an apprenticeship. In today's world, it is just as important to pay attention to sustainability. A sustainable education not only helps to protect our environment, but can also bring long-term benefits for your own career and society.

At Mounting Systems GmbH, we consider in-company training to be a key pillar of our sustainability strategy. Our approach aims not only to develop skilled professionals, but also to promote sustainable values and practices that will benefit our company and the environment in the long term.

We are delighted to welcome new trainees to our company again this year. After all, careers in the renewable energy sector not only offer interesting and varied fields of work, but also contribute to making the world a better place. In addition, these professions are often crisis-proof and offer good prospects for the future.

So why not combine the "YOLO" idea with sustainable training? Because if you only live once, you should use this opportunity to do something good not only for yourself, but also for the world.
